Lesson 27- Admit

“Happy are the pure in Heart,” (Matthew 5:8)

Worship: Lord Looks at the Heart, We Can Trust in HIM, Spirit Lead Me, Nothing is Impossible, Help Me Jesus, and Thankful. Meditation Music: Speak Lord.

Circle Group Time: (1) READ Small Group Guidelines, (2) READ CR CP Class Rules, (3) Name introductions, (4) Announcements.

Teaching Time: Story of Jessica McClure, an 18month old baby fell down a well on October 14, 1987 in Midland, Texas. WATCH, Baby Jessica Rescue. WATCH, Baby Jessica: 30 Years After Being Rescued From The Well | PeopleTV. REFLECTION QUESTIONS: If you were a Rescuer what would you have done? If you were Jessica what would you be thinking about being stuck in the well? What would you be feeling? What would you have said to the Rescuers if you were saved from a well?

Centers-

(1) Cleaned Up Act: Need Bible, 2 clear jars of H2O, and One handfull of dirt. READ Matthew 5:8. Reflection questions: (1) which jar represents a pure heart? (2) what are the benefits of living with a pure heart in our relationships? (3) how do we maintain a pure heart? (4) how do you admit to other when you have done something wrong or hurtful? (5) Can you tell me how you can practice being honest and keep a pure heart this week? (6) Can you share one way you will live with a pure heart this week?

(2) Good Listening: READ James 1: 19. READ Deuteronomy 1:17. (1) What does the Bible say about Judgement? (2) What does the Bible say about listening? (3) What is listening with out judgement mean? (4) What dinds of things do people say when they are judging someone? (5) What kinds of things to people say when they are not Judging someone?

(3) Uncommon Commonalites: Need- form groups of 3-4 or small group icebreaker. (1) Do you keep things that you have done wrong or sinful inside? (2) Why do you not share those sinful things? We are all sinners, even the Bible tells us this is true. READ Romans 3:23. In your groups find one thing that you all have in common, provide ICEBREAKER.

Small Group: REFLECTION QUESTIONS- (1) What did you learn today? (2) What did you experience today? (3) What did you discover about yourself? (4) What did you discover about others?

Prayer/Closing: (1) Share Blessings/Prayers, (2) Closing Prayer: Dear Heavely Father, thank you for rescuing all of us through your son, Jesus Christ. Thank you for giving us opportunities to admit our wrong doings and for providing wonderful people to help us. In Jesus Name. AMEN, (3) Read/Repeat/Say Serenity Prayer.
