Teaching Time: “TELL THE TRUTH”. Need: 3 teen or adult actors. Questions: (1) What do you do when someone sins? (2) How would you help someone who asked you for help? (3) What would you do if someone asked you for forgiveness? (4) Do you know who the real GOD is? (5) Will the True God stand up please?
SMALL GROUP: Need pen/pencil, CP Journal page. Form groups. READ Small Group Guidelines. Questions: (1) Which of the three actors seemed more like God? (2) What do you thinkm of the real God? (3) Write a prayer of thanks to God for being so loving and kind.
Centers:
(1) Courage Ribbons. Need: glitter, glue, award ribbons, decorate ribbon with bible verse, words such as courage, bravery or brave one. The children will decorate the ribbons and take them home to remember they can be brave and couragous.
(2) Knock Knock Joke. Need: Bible, some knock knock jokes. THEN, Knock knock. Who is there? Jesus. Jesus Who? Let’s check the Bible and see. READ Revelation 3: 19-20. “Jesus knocks on the door of our live and wants to come in, but to let him in we must be ready,” (CR CP Leader Guide). What do we need to do to be ready to let Jesus into our lives?
(3) Yielded. Need: Bible, white board, white board markers. Draw traffic signs: Stop, speed limit, slow, yield…Questions: (1) What does each of the signs mean? (2) What does yield mean when driving? (3) What does yield mean whdn we talk aboud our relationship with GOD? (4) How can we yield to God? READ Psalm 143: 10. Questions: (1) What does this verse say about what it means to yield to GOD? (2) How can you yield to God this week?
SMALL GROUP: Reflection about Centers.
Prayer/Closing: (1) Share Blessings/Prayers, (2) Closing Prayer: Dear Heavely Father, thank you for taking all of us and our families this fare in our recovery journey. Thank you heavely father for helping to make us ready to keep listening and following you, give us all strength, Courage and allow us to accept all the changes you want us to make in ourselves. Please help us to be the people you want us to become. In Jesus Name. AMEN, (3) Read/Repeat/Say Serenity Prayer. Play His Great Love.

Teaching Time. Need: Bible, Large writing surface (white board/chalk board/etc), and writting utensil. What are Hurts, Habits or Hangups? Create a flower with Petals and write suggestions in the Petals. Draw stem and roots of flower. Describe how we see the petals but can’t see the inside of the flower the Roots…Relate to “Bill’s Story” from last weeks lesson. Often hurts, habits or hang ups originate from our past childhood (our roots). Example of Roots: fear, insecurity, anger, resentment, bitterness, pride, and much more… The unhealthy roots cause unhealthy flower petals. What are good character traits? What are the fruits of the spirit? READ Galatians 5:22-23. What does the scripture say about goot roots for healthy flowers to grow? Draw a healthy flower. This week lets pray for GOD to help us to have good and healthy roots in our lives so that our lives are full and blessed with beautiful health.

(1) Symptom Diagnosis. As a Christian Doctor the first rule is to understand, “sin is the symptom of the character defect,” (CR CP Leader Guide). Questions: (1) What do you thing that means? (2) What is a symptom? (3) What is a character defect? (4) What is the reall issue the God needs to heal? Make a chart on the white board: Symptom vs Cause/Problem. Example: Overeating vs Affraid there is not enough food for eating, or lonely or sad. SYMPTOM LIST: Over Eating, Alcoholism, Drug Addition, Gambling Addiction, Domestic Violence, Divorce, Purchasing Addiction, Hording of Stuff, Anger Management issues, …
(2) Water Relay. Need: Bible, two spoons and water. Form 2 teams. Questions: (1) How easy or difficult was it to complete the Water Relay sucessfully? (2) What does it take to be sucessful? READ James 5: 7-8. Questions: (1) What does the farmer teach us about patience? (2) How is patience important in the Water Relay game? (3) Why do we need to be patient with ourselves and others when GOD is changing us?
(3) Ultimate Surrender. Need: Bible. Play “Follow the Leader” allowing several turns with different leaders. Questions: (1) What do you need to do to be a good follower? (2) How can you use thos same things to be a good follower of GOD? READ Matthew 16: 25-26. Questions: (1) What does this scripture mean to you? (2) How can you “ultimately surrender”? (3) Why is humility importand when following GOD? READ Matthew 16: 25-26. Questions: (1) How is humility importands to following GOD? (2) What obsticles stand in your way of following GOD?
